I Did This For My Grandmother

When my grandfather passed, a piece of my grandmother’s heart went with him. Every day since, she’s missed him deeply.

One afternoon, I walked in to find her pulling old clothes from the back of her closet. She gently laid one of his suits and a tie on the bed and said with a soft smile, “He wore this to our wedding.”

Boom. That moment hit me like a lightning bolt.

I knew I had to do something—something meaningful. I wanted to create a way for her to keep a piece of him close, always. So, I got to work and turned that beloved suit into something new. Something that carried his love forward.

That small, heartfelt idea became the spark that started my business nearly fifteen years ago. And now, after over a decade of stitching stories and preserving memories, it's finally time to open the virtual doors and launch a website.

After I crafted my very first purse and clutch for my grandmother—using my late grandfather’s suit—I realized something magical: there’s a real love and need for bags that carry more than just your daily essentials. They can carry memories.

That moment opened my eyes to a market for one-of-a-kind, handmade purses with a personal touch. I use men's suits, ties, and belts to create each bag by hand—no two are ever the same.

When I design, I don’t start with a pattern. I start with a vision. This freestyle approach gives me the freedom to let the materials speak for themselves. If a better color combo pops up or a new shape feels right, I run with it. That flexibility also lets me preserve special elements from the original suit—like keeping jacket pockets fully functional within the bag. It’s part fashion, part storytelling.

Every purse and bag I create is truly one of a kind—no duplicates, no copies, no mass production. Just carefully crafted pieces made with heart, by hand, and with a deep love for storytelling through style.
